A quick update from FoodSentials
FoodSentials Recent Activity
Last week at FoodSentials, we were approached by Help Bristol’s Homeless Charity who now offer an Out Reach programme. They’ve asked can we supply food for making sandwiches etc. We have allocated £20 for this (with CleanSec matching the £20).
It’s amazing what £40 can get for those less privileged. We’ve managed to get:
- 6 loaves of Bread
- 8 Tins of Tuna
- 8 Tins of Corned Beef
- 5 Packs of Ham
- 1 Pack of Chicken
- 16 Bars of Chocolate
- 6 Packets of Biscuits
- and 24 bags of Crisps.
Now off to Bristol to deliver it all!
We have also dropped off some Bread to Rob at Help Bristol’s Homeless.
Very thankful as always and thank you for Weston Food Bank for the donation!
Additionally, Do you know an individual or family in need? As well as looking to help this month with some food donations, FoodSentials is also looking at helping very low income pensioners pay for their TV License. This is a scheme we have been thinking about for a while now and more details will be coming out over the next few weeks
